It all started when...

Designer/entrepreneur Samuel Schimek began I Heart Denver as a retail experiment and artist incubator in 2011, creating a viable business model for local makers looking to earn a living doing what they love most. Incredibly, Schimek accomplished this by thinking small: I Heart Denver, located at the Denver Pavilions in downtown Denver, was conceived as a small business bringing exposure to even smaller businesses exclusive to Colorado, while serving a mixed clientele of tourists and locals.

I Heart Denver Store has grown to be one of the most recognizable tourist shop destinations in the city. Visitors will find hundreds of products from local producers as well as Colorado and Denver themed gifts and merchandise.

What kind of merchandise will you find at I Heart Denver stores? Beautiful Denver and Colorado them gifts and keepsakes from USA makers. Local wares form 200+ Colorado artist and designers including, hand-screen-printed T-shirts, glassware and stationery to original works of art and locally designed furniture and clothing, bringing recognition to dozens of local micro-businesses. Artists on our consignment program get 60 percent of the sales of their work, growing their businesses and retail exposure over time, all as part of I Heart Denver’s win-win business model.
